  • What is Plombox (for Business Owners)?
  • Plombox is an out of the box solution for business owners to engage with loyal customers through a web and mobile platform.
    1. Create new offer campaigns or broadcast your already existent promotions to new and loyal customers.
    2. Receive customer data to tailor offer campaigns to your customers.
  • How do I join Plombox?
  • We are receiving business applications through this website. Please click on Business Application and submit the form. Our staff will connect with you through the phone within a few days.
  • What do I do after I apply for Plombox Business Account?
  • Our staff will connect with you through the phone within a few business days. We will guide you through setting up your promotions and send you Plombox marketing materials you can display at your store.
  • How do I market and put my promotions on Plombox?
  • With Plombox, you can put your already existent marketing and promotional plans onto our platform. Or, you can create your own promotions using our custom campaigns:
    • Loyalty - Run the Loyalty campaign to turn first-time customers to long-term loyal customers. It's simply a digital version of paper punchcards - no printing required!
    • Happy Hour - Run the Happy Hour to increase sales during off-peak hours. No business can maintain high customer traffic 24/7.
    • 1st timer - Run the First Timer to attract potential loyal customers in your community. Plombox makes it easier for people to discover your store.
    • News - Keep your customers updated of anything and everything happening at your store.
  • How do I verify offers that customers present?
  • All you need to do is educate your store staff so that they know what the unlocked offer screen looks like. Once offers are unlocked, they turn from grey (locked) to greenish-blue aqua (unlocked).

    However, the Loyalty campaign verification is slightly different. Please see the next FAQ.
  • What is the passcode? Why do I need to remember it?
  • The passcode is used for progressing the Loyalty campaign (e.g. "Buy 5 slices of pizza and get the 6th one for FREE"). Because your customers collect stamps for the number of items they purchase at your store, you need to verfiy that a correct number of stamps are entered on the customer's mobile app.

    Please educate your store staff so that they can protect the passcode from leaking. However, if the passcode does leak and you notice a suspicious activity, you are always welcome to change it on your online business Dashboard.
  • What is Plombox (for Customers)?
  • Plombox is a mobile application that helps you save on your everyday purchases from your favorite local stores.
  • How do I download the Plombox app?
  • The Plombox app is currently available on Google Play and works on Android smartphones. The Plombox iPhone app will be available on the App Store soon.
  • Do I pay to download and use the Plombox app?
  • No, it is 100% FREE to download and use the Plombox app as a non-business user.
  • How do I login to the website?
  • The website is available for business owners only. As regular users, all you need is the Plombox mobile app to discover and redeem offers around you.
  • Why do I not see any store near me on the app?
  • It is possible that some of our users may not see nearby Plombox stores. We are rapidly expanding to major cities in the North America and may have Plombox stores in your neighbourhood soon! Meanwhile, please vote your city if you would like us to gtetet your city before any other
  • What types of offers can I get?
  • There are three types of offers:
    • Loyalty - Receive an offer upon collecting a specific number of stamps.
    • Happy Hour - Receive an offer upon visiting stores during a specific time period of the day.
    • 1st timer - Receive an offer upon your first visit to store

    We recommend all of our Plombox stores to offer all three types of promotions. However, it is ultimately up to each store to decide what offers they are willing to give out.
  • How do I redeem offers?
  • Once you download the app, add your favorite stores and go to their Offers page. You will then need to unlock each offer yourself first and present them to the store staff who will visually verify your unlocked offer.
  • I am trying to unlock the Loyalty offer. What's the passcode?
  • For First Timer and Happy Hour offers, you can present the aqua-colored unlocked screen to the store staff for visual verification.

    However, for Loyalty offers, you need to hand over your phone to the store staff who will then enter the passcode for you. It will take only 5 seconds!
